Download Color Election Card Online: A new facility called e-Epic has been launched by the Election Commission of India from February 1 to enable online download of election cards. Through this facility you can download election card online at home by entering your Epic number i.e. election card number or reference number.

The voter portal site was created to provide electors with a single point of contact to avail election service. Users can use this portal to access a variety of services like:

  • Applying for a voter ID card
  • Accessing contact details of Booth level officers or Electoral Registration Officers
  • Applying online for corrections in voter ID card
  • Accessing details regarding polling booth, assembly constituency, and parliament constituency
  • Accessing the electoral list

Steps for NVSP Registration

To register to the NVSP portal, follow the simple steps that are mentioned below:

  • Open the NVSP portal
  • Select the 'Login/Register' button from bottom right side.
  • Next click the 'Don't have an account, register as new user' link at the center.
  • Enter your mobile number and captcha to get an OTP.
  • After verification, you will get the option to register with an EPIC number or without it.
  • If you choose the 'I have EPIC' option, you will get registered by providing your EPIC number, email ID, and password.
  • If you choose the 'I don't have EPIC' option, you will get registered by providing your name, email ID, and password.
  • After registering, you can track the status of your application on the NVSP portal.




Steps to track status of your voter id card in NVSP

  • Log on to the national voter's service portalor voter portal
  • Enter 'Reference ID' that you got at the time of Voter ID Registartion & Form No.
  • Click on 'Track Status' (Voter ID Status).
  • The status of your Voter ID will be displayed on the screen.

How to download election card online?

  • First go to Election Commission of India website NVSP (National Voter's Service Portal) www.nvsp.in.
  • If you are visiting this website for the first time then first you have to register in this portal. After the registration process you have to login with mobile number and password.
  • After login, you will see an option named Download e-Epic, click on it.
  • A new page will open.
  • Select your state by entering Epic number or reference number and click on search button.
  • After clicking on the search button, you will see the information of your election card below and click on the Send OTP button given below.
  • Write the OTP received on the registered mobile number.
  • After writing the OTP, OTP Verification Successfully will be written below in green letters.
  • Type that code in the captcha box.
  • Click on Download e-Epic option.
  • Then your digital election card will be downloaded in PDF format. A QR code will be given for the verification of the downloaded election card or not, by scanning it, you can verify that the election card is yours or not.
